There a bucketloads of things left to do for the www.php.net (http://prototype.php.net) redesign.

The frontpage is stabilizing these days, but the code behind it hasn't been fully implemented.

• Use the moderated flickr group feed (http://www.flickr.com/groups/elephpants) for the elephpant pics
• Implement better calendar system, and show UG meetups and conference more prominently
• Create a list of User Groups
• Fill out the Lorem ipsum text for the 4 boxes, add more icons and things to rotate regularly
• Mobile device friendliness
• Update the design on the mirrors page (dragoonis)
• Add light-dark overlay over the elephpant pictures so they don't distract the eye to much
• The documentation pages look can be improved
• Add a new box under 'Quick TOC' within doc pages, for things like “report a bug” and “edit this page” (dragoonis)
• Design better sidebar navigation for man pages, example: A B are both bad. Consider only listing method names under the class name?
• Decide about elephpants and implement them
• Fix spacing and indentation in mega drop down
• Identify content missing from current php.net homepage that should be in the new version
• Decide where to put this missing content (e.g. in the footer?)
• Provide content for 'get involved'
• Provide content for 'need help'
• Provide content for 'tips/tricks'
• Make pecl/pear section a dynamic list of recent package changes
• Make news dynamic (dragoonis)
• Make conferences section dynamic
• Make user group events dynamic (preferably localized somehow)
• Revisit styling of manual pages (e.g. move language selector)
• Revisit styling of sidebar on manual pages (readability of green links)
• Revisit styling of comments on manual pages
• Revisit styling of other pages (e.g. sites, downloads, tips, etc.)
• Identify and fix broken links in navigation

Just go crazy. Hack on whatever you don't think is pretty, or add functionality you want.
